It was beautifully maintained, quiet and for phones. Had secluded location on disused railway line. What's more, it was near to castles or Loch Muick as well as Dougs garden.

Well, it was a really great stay for one night. We had an amazing and sensational breakfast with home made bread. The hotel was in the secluded setting in a very quiet area.

The place is good old, met the purpose. Everyone is amiable and host too. The units are well laid out for phones. They serve delicious and enjoyable breakfasts for all tastes with amazing home made bread and bacon and scones. The location is stunning, in the nature. Plus, this hotel is just next door to the centre of town as well as a cafe.

The hotel had indeed a great location in a beautiful setting. The staff was good and awesome, my every need was addressed.

Only stayed 1 night, as we were in a hurry, but glad that chose this beautiful old hotel. The breakfast offered a lot of options and was delicious. This property had a secluded position in a lovely natonal park.

The venue has reasonably large rooms with good beds, a Tassimo coffee maker, the bedroom and affable staff.

Make sure you stay in the twin room for phones. The location is excellent and beautiful and it is just next door to forests, and Dougs garden. Also, it's 5 km away from Braehead of Tullich.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely bed and breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed for a one-night stay. The owner was friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade bread and jam that added a special touch to my stay. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this B&B.

Quiet accommodation with handy setting just off disused railway line, the centre of town, and a lovely natonal park. The really helpful staff and their quick responses to my needs. Lovely bed, clean bathroom and coffee and some excellent tea in the room. Very good overall experience.

What a beautiful old place! Well-equipped and well-organised units with a Tassimo coffee maker, the garden plus bedlinen. Very amiable staffs, gave a few recommendations. The restaurant was good, for dinner. The hotel of choice in Ballater.

location close to nature, burn o'vat and the beautiful loch kinnord and loch davan at muir of dinnet, and the forest behind-or-along the river dee across the road. breakfast with lime juice variously and freshly made rolls, for instance.
